Give your honey a little something special this Valentine's day:) As sweet and romantic or naughty as you like!
Hi and Happy New Year to everyone! Yet again, I am behind on updating my blog. I will throw a few from recent sessions out there in this post! I also want everyone to know that I am running a sale this week! Book your 2011 session (for any time this year) by January 8th and get it half off! This is a great deal! A typical session (family of 5 or less) runs $100 so you will save $50 by booking this week! Don't miss out!
I recently had the pleasure of doing Greg's senior photos. We headed downtown to the canal, which happened to be colored. I believe it's supposed to be pink for breast cancer awareness month, but lucky for Greg it looked a deep crimson red instead. Made for a gorgeous fall colored background :)
For my first official session Post Maternity Leave, I had the pleasure of photographing the 'S' Family. We went downtown on the canal. Despite the extreme heat and humidity, I think their photos came out great, and it was such a pleasure photographing them!
I am officially off of maternity leave and ready for the senior season. Seniors, you need to book now in order to be guaranteed a session! My weekend appointments for late summer and fall fill VERY quickly.
I do have some photos to share from my time off, as I ended up making time for a few important photo opportunities
First, my sister's wedding reception :)
Then my sweet little 2nd cousin was born ... Baby Gavin
Then my mom got remarried ...
and then right before I ended my maternity leave (HA HA) I photographed both the Bandits Baseball and Lady Bandit's softball teams...
Little Mason arrived on April 15th. Things have been a complete whirlwind since then! We closed on a new house the day after he was born and have spent the last 3 weeks packing, cleaning, painting (well hubby and some family did that... can't say that I did. ha) and unpacking. I did make sure I took the time to get a few photos though! These were taken when he was one week old.
As far as the biz, I am on maternity leave until the middle of June, but then I will be back at it! 2011 seniors, it's time to start thinking about booking your sessions before I fill up! I have had a lot of last minute calls for 2010 seniors this spring and have had to turn a lot of them away unfortunately, so schedule those sessions ASAP!
Now for the photos of our newest arrival ... Mason Jeremy Born April 15th, 7lbs 3oz and 20 inches long :)
My last senior I had scheduled before I started my maternity leave. It happened to be great timing, as my little guy was born the next day. Photos of him coming soon! We went downtown to the Canal for these photos. Had a great time. Lyndsey was fun and so easy to photograph. So glad the timing worked out. Here are a few of my faves from the session.
Been awhile since I have updated the blog! Things have been busy here! The hubby will be home this week from his deployment to Iraq! We are getting super excited!
Got the camera out in all this crazy snow we are getting today and snapped a few of my youngest little guy... wearing his Colt's Jersey for Blue Friday and doing his touchdown pose along with his touchdown dance! And of course we had to get a little snow eating in as well:) Hope everyone enjoys this snowy superbowl weekend!
For those of you who don't know .... my husband was home on leave in July and he left an extra special present behind:) We are expecting baby #4 in April! We found out yesterday that it's going to be another little boy. That makes 1 girl and 3 boys!
Anyway, I will be taking appointments as usual all the way up through April. However, if you're a senior and you'll be ordering announcements for graduation, the sooner you can get me the information so I can start your design process, the better! I am sure the end of April and beginning of May will be very busy for me and I want to make sure I get everyone's orders in on time!
I will resume taking photo appointments on a limited basis in mid May and be back on a full schedule by the end of June to begin next year's senior season!
Thank you to all of my fans and clients for such a wonderful 2009!
Don't forget, if you are not a fan on facebook, become one, and tell your friends! I will be offering a free 5x7 with every paid photo session to all of my facebook fans in 2010. You must be a fan and mention it when you book your session to get your 5x7!
This was one of my first "real" clients a couple of years ago! So fun to get the chance to shoot them again! Here is your sneak peek! I will email you when I have your full gallery ready :) If you have a facebook, feel free to fan my page (over on the right) and tag yourselves in the photos so you can display them on your own fb page:)
Gotta love kids who are totally into the shoot and want to pose themselves! hehe.
Took my nieces out over the weekend and they were so fun coming up with their own poses (some of which I had to veto hah). Here are a few I have edited so far.
I did a few of Kenzie's pics earlier in the summer as she's one of my reps. We did her full session a few weeks ago in Indianapolis. Fun session! Here are a few of my faves.
Still so far behind on blogging sessions! Got out with the niece and nephew a couple of weeks ago... tried out a park I haven't shot at before. Here are a few from their session:)
Meet the "S" family. Shot this session for Op Love over the weekend. This little girl was the sweetest and you should have seen her little face light up when she found a picture of 'daddy' in her hat. Cutest thing ever! Totally reminded me why I do these sessions, because you know her daddy's face is going to light up the same way when he sees the pictures of his family:)
Here is your sneak peek! It was great meeting you guys! I will email you as soon as your full gallery is posted!
Had a gorgeous fall day to do these fun senior pics yesterday! Here's a little sneak peek! (let me know if either of these head shots will work for the yearbook!)
Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing some of the cutest kids! This little guy was a busy one, so I got him whatever way I could, even upside down! ;) haha. Sorry it took so long to get these up! Here is your sneak peek! I will email you with the full gallery in the next week or two when I am finished! Thank you for sharing your Sat afternoon with me. I had fun! :)
Kaylee is a senior at Franklin Central HS and also happens to be my cousin. We went to downtown Indy around the canal and stuff for her pics! Was a fun evening! :) Here are a few of my faves!
I had the pleasure of doing an Op Love session for the L family yesterday. What a sweet, fun family! I know dad will enjoy these photos when he gets them! Here is your sneak peek! I will email you with a link to your gallery when I am all finished! Thank you for allowing me to do these photos and for your family's sacrifice! :)
