Elexus came in at the end of summer for her senior session. She did my VIP session, so we had some really great variety! We did a couple in my home studio, then we hit up the local library, her high school, an old abandoned train, a friend's house with a great pond, Falls park and downtown Fortville! We crammed a TON in and had a blast doing it! She started out getting her makeup done by my hair and makeup artist, Amy. Then we did her studio shots with a messy bun. After that, Amy finished up her hair and we took off for the rest of our session. At our 2nd to last stop, we had water, and even though she knew we had one more place to go, she got all in and even soaked her hair ... a little scrunching and it was gorgeous for her next location as well! Meet Payton, A Greenfield Central High School Class of 2017 Senior.  I've known Payton since she was about 8. She used to spend days at a time at my house with my daughter. She was like her sister for several years. They grew apart at some point, and I hadn't seen her in awhile, so I was so excited when Payton asked me to do her senior photos! She has turned into a beautiful young woman :) Had a great time at her session! Isn't she gorgeous?

Bailey is graduating from Pendleton Heights High School this spring. She wanted a Fall look to her personal session, so we went out in Oct and got a very gloomy day, but we didn't let that stop us and we got some really great, unique pictures! Meet Marlee from Hamilton South Eastern High School! Marlee's session was late this summer. We had a great time in downtown Pendleton and at Falls Park. There are also photos from a model shoot or two here. My models this year did a Boho themed shoot, a shoot at the Indiana State Fair and a waterfall shoot plus their own senior shoots and some headshots and a fun softball setup we did for some of them.  If you are class of 2017 I am already on the search for next year's team! This senior season is so crazy busy! The weather has been AHhhhh mazing though!  Sidney is a class of 2016 senior at Knightstown High School and she has the cutest car! Class of 2016, Tori had a great diverse session! My largest senior session can cram in a lot of fun and a lot of looks and gorgeous locations! Lilli is from a large farm family and the locations she chose were absolutely gorgeous, as was she! Had a great (though sweaty) time on this shoot and you would never know by looking at her how hot and muggy it was!

So when people hire me for their senior photos, they usually want to know what sets me apart. I could answer with a lot of things ... the way I treat my clients, the amount of time I pour into learning new techniques and lighting, the way I pray before every single session for God to help me make this one the best one I've ever done, the passion I have for what I do, the way I don't JUST love taking the photos, but I love opening them up on my computer and creating the perfect masterpiece ... Art. That is what sets me apart. My vision. My art. The colors that pop off the page, the light, the emotion. I'm offering something to my seniors this year that I haven't seen offered in this area. Seniors are typically involved in a lot whether it be sports, drama, choir, band, cheer or other interests like racing or dirt bikes etc. The point is, we can go out and take some amazing portraits, but if you truly want to remember who they were during their senior year, what about some action shots of them doing what they love ? I love my seniors! I would love to come to a game or a performance and capture them in their element, and then you can have a really great piece of art to hang in your home or they can hang in their dorm, or we can do an album... I'm adding a senior session package that includes a visit from me to an activity of their choice. It should be a home game or event unless an away game will put them closer to me, then that is your choice. When it's over I can create something really great for you that will last long after they put their glove down for the last time ...

I hardly ever get the chance to do engagement sessions because I don't do weddings, but I got the opportunity recently and I jumped on it! I forgot how much fun these can be! This couple is adorable and I had the chance to try out some fun things I had been saving up for the next chance I had to do these. Here are some of my absolute favorites! Sorry for the overload. Meet Paul! His senior session was done in the height of fall on the most beautiful afternoon. We went from his home, to a park, to the circle in Downtown Shelbyville.
