Meet Payton, A Greenfield Central High School Class of 2017 Senior.  I've known Payton since she was about 8. She used to spend days at a time at my house with my daughter. She was like her sister for several years. They grew apart at some point, and I hadn't seen her in awhile, so I was so excited when Payton asked me to do her senior photos! She has turned into a beautiful young woman :) Had a great time at her session! Isn't she gorgeous?

Whew, now that I am slowing down a bit, I can start sharing some of these amazing senior sessions we have had this year! Kaylee, from Greenfield Central High School, came back in Sept for her session. She had her hair and makeup done by my amazing makeup artist, Amy and then we headed to Falls Park for her session, as it was a place she spent a lot of time with her grandma. Great way to keep and make new memories. Grandma came along as well! We had a great time, and I definitely had to make her get wet! It's the best location for playing in the water :)

 

Megan is a cheer leader at Eastern Hancock High School. She was looking for a session with a little bit of Urban (for her) and a little bit of Nature (for Mom) . We nailed that combination at this shoot! We started off the day with Hair and Makeup with my HMUA Amy. Then we went on our way! Megan was sweet and fun to work with and I couldn't wait to show her her images! This girl is flawless :)

Class of 2017! It is YOUR time! I am so excited about this! I am not sure if it's because my own daughter is a senior, or if it's because of all of the ideas I have. I'm ready to blow all of your friends away with your pics! When we are done with your session, your story is going to be told, and all of your friends are going to be so jealous of your photos! This is Isabel! Isabel goes to Nexus Academy of Indianapolis. Isabel isn't just gorgeous in front of the camera, she knows her way around behind it too! She's done some great work!



 
This is Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn plays softball, basketball and runs cross country for Alexandria Monroe High School. She's looking amazing and All-American Girlish for our "take me out to the ballgame" shoot!

This is Madison. Madison is a Cheerleader at Speedway High School. She is also a state champion gymnast! I just LOVED her dress for our downtown shoot! She looked amazing.



 
This is Makayla ... what can I say about this girl? She's MINE! My senior ...aaaahhhh and I am so not ready for this! Makayla plays softball for Greenfield Central High School. She can drive me insane, but she's pretty special and I'm very proud of her! And I might be somewhat biased, but stunning also comes to mind :)



 
This is Morgan! Morgan plays tennis at Shenandoah High School! She is so cute and sweet and I just love this pic of her in downtown Indy!



 
This is Morganne. Morganne plays basketball and softball at Greenfield Central High School. She was named Co-player of the year in softball this past season. I love this look on her and her hair! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Olivia was one of my class of 2016 senior models. Brittaney did her session in October. It was my first (and definitely not last) time at this location and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Such a perfect little town for photos! We also had a lot of fun with her softball photos! If you play a sport or are in an activity that is special to you, you definitely want to bring something to represent that! We will find a way to work it in, no matter what it is!

Bailey is graduating from Pendleton Heights High School this spring. She wanted a Fall look to her personal session, so we went out in Oct and got a very gloomy day, but we didn't let that stop us and we got some really great, unique pictures! Meet Jayden! She was one of my senior models this year. Such a great girl! We had an awesome time at her shoot and ended up with some amazing stuff! Girls, I can't tell you enough ... bring a fab pair of heels to your session! You don't have to wear them the whole time, but they just really complete the look for some outfits! I LOVE that her shoes match her car! Perfection!

Lilli is from a large farm family and the locations she chose were absolutely gorgeous, as was she! Had a great (though sweaty) time on this shoot and you would never know by looking at her how hot and muggy it was!

This has been such a great year for seniors. This is Madison. She went with my 2 day session and we had a blast. Love her different looks!

 


 

So at some point every day I try and have a little quiet prayer time. With 4 kids, it's usually hiding in the shower or something, but I sneak it in whenever I can! haha. This morning I started my usual prayer session thanking God for all he's done for us lately, when it hit me how every day lately I've been asking, begging, pleading for something ... be it my daughter's health, financial stuff, and of course just the general health and wellbeing of all of my kids and family members. Today I stopped myself from asking for any of that, and I asked ... what can I do for you today? How can I bless someone else? Well, admittedly, most of the time when I am praying, I start out praying, then 5 minutes later I realize my mind has gone to the softball game from the weekend, or the bills waiting to be paid downstairs, or the bathroom that needs cleaned... you get the gist. So this morning after I got that out I found my mind wandering to gosh, wouldn't it be cool if I could donate a session to a senior who really needed it? What if I could make it even bigger than that, and get them styled before the session, have a cute outfit donated? My thoughts were going crazy trying to plan it all out... Then the smack on the head.... HELLLLLOOO you were praying remember? But wait? This time, maybe my mind wasn't just wandering. Maybe I was actually hearing what God was saying? Yep, I definitely believe that I was. So here you have it!

I am going to put in a call/email to the school guidance counselors to see if they have any recommendations, but I also want my family, friends, clients and facebook fans to nominate kids for me! I know God didn't ask me to do this without someone in mind. I know I'll find out who it was. Once I have the submissions, they will be carefully prayed over to choose my winner. Submissions will be taken until Oct 25th and I will contact the winner by Oct 27th to arrange the session! I would like to have it done in the first 2 weeks of November.  I want to make this big for this kid, whoever it may be, so if you feel like you'd like to donate a hair/makeup session or a gift card for that, or a gift card for clothing for the session, or if you are another vendor and would like to donate something to give them... As usual, I am a bit behind on blogging. This was my last 2012 Senior. It's now time to book your Class of 2013 senior photo session!
