Class of 2017! It is YOUR time! I am so excited about this! I am not sure if it's because my own daughter is a senior, or if it's because of all of the ideas I have. I'm ready to blow all of your friends away with your pics! When we are done with your session, your story is going to be told, and all of your friends are going to be so jealous of your photos! (you know, unless you tell them to come see me too!)

This is Makayla ... what can I say about this girl? She's MINE! My senior ...aaaahhhh and I am so not ready for this! Makayla plays softball for Greenfield Central High School. She can drive me insane, but she's pretty special and I'm very proud of her! And I might be somewhat biased, but stunning also comes to mind :)

Brittaney did her session in October. It was my first (and definitely not last) time at this location and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Such a perfect little town for photos! We also had a lot of fun with her softball photos! If you play a sport or are in an activity that is special to you, you definitely want to bring something to represent that! We will find a way to work it in, no matter what it is!

It's that time of year again! Travel softball! I have photographed several teams this season, but this is by far my favorite! Probably because I know these girls. They are my daughter's teammates, and this is one of the most drama free sweet group of girls I know! Love them so much! I would love to add ALL of the photos, but that would be total overload, so I will post a couple of each pose and of course our Team banner and this year's memory mate! So when people hire me for their senior photos, they usually want to know what sets me apart. I could answer with a lot of things ... the way I treat my clients, the amount of time I pour into learning new techniques and lighting, the way I pray before every single session for God to help me make this one the best one I've ever done, the passion I have for what I do, the way I don't JUST love taking the photos, but I love opening them up on my computer and creating the perfect masterpiece ... Art. That is what sets me apart. My vision. My art. The colors that pop off the page, the light, the emotion. I'm offering something to my seniors this year that I haven't seen offered in this area. Seniors are typically involved in a lot whether it be sports, drama, choir, band, cheer or other interests like racing or dirt bikes etc. The point is, we can go out and take some amazing portraits, but if you truly want to remember who they were during their senior year, what about some action shots of them doing what they love ? I love my seniors! I would love to come to a game or a performance and capture them in their element, and then you can have a really great piece of art to hang in your home or they can hang in their dorm, or we can do an album... I'm adding a senior session package that includes a visit from me to an activity of their choice. It should be a home game or event unless an away game will put them closer to me, then that is your choice. When it's over I can create something really great for you that will last long after they put their glove down for the last time ...

Did you know I do sports photography? I shoot some for our local paper "The Daily Reporter"  but I also do some team photos and I do game coverage as well! My team photography is a bit more custom than most, so I don't do huge groups like little league. I prefer to do private photos for travel teams. Here is a mix of sports I have done recently!

 

The blog is going to go crazy today. I have so much to catch up on! This was back in May before the 8th Grade formal dance at Greenfield Central Jr. High. I held mini sessions before hand. A lot of these girls are athletes and they wanted to showcase that. I love what we ended up with! This will totally be an overshare, but I had to show all of these! :)



 
 
 
 

I have had a lot of demand for a smaller, less customized session than I usually offer. I offer a boutique style brand, with a custom photo spot, custom editing and your own ordering session either online or in person by your choice. My typical photo session lasts at least an hour, if not longer and I deliver 20-30 fully edited proofs for you to choose from in your gallery. I am finding that some of you just want to capture a moment in your child's life, but don't necessarily need the full session. So Capture the Moment sessions are born. Playing a sport? Want a more custom photo in your uniform than the dime a dozen team sport photos? Graduating preschool, Kindergarten, 6th grade, 8th grade? Just want a quick shot or two for remembrance? That's where these sessions come in! These are for ages 4-18 and One child per session only. Sessions will last no more than 20 minutes in one location in the Greenfield area. I will deliver up to 7 proofs for you to choose from. You pay $50 for the session and 2 digital images with print release. You may upgrade the session to $75 for the session and 3 images or $100 for the session and 5 images. These sessions will be available on a first come first serve basis as I will only be fullfilling a certain amount per month and they are not available on weekends.  Schedule yours today!

I am also adding GAME DAY Sessions! For $200 I will come to your child's ballgame and photograph them playing and you will receive a disk of all of the 4x6 images with print release. Again, these sessions will be on a very limited basis, so schedule yours ASAP to make sure you get one! You may share this session with one other person on your team if you like.
