Had the pleasure of photographing these little cuties for their Grandparents' Christmas gifts. Everyone knows how I LOVE the little babies! This was double the fun :) Great family!

Did this session Thanksgiving weekend. What GREAT weather we had! I couldn't believe how warm it was... perfect :) And these guys were lots of fun too:)

This was another beautiful fall day at Falls Park in Pendleton. Such a great location for photos!

 

This was a great chilly afternoon in late fall. We went downtown on the canal and had a lot of fun! And the photo where they are fighting in the background? NOT Staged! lol! I love it so much because who can't relate? Really fun session :)

Meet Paul! His senior session was done in the height of fall on the most beautiful afternoon. We went from his home, to a park, to the circle in Downtown Shelbyville. Lots of fun and a really great subject! :) 2012 Seniors, time is running out, so make sure you get your sessions scheduled if you haven't yet!

Had a Great session the weekend of Sept 11th with this family who is eagerly awaiting the return of their daddy/husband from overseas. The kids were very sweet and entertaining and I had a wonderful time photographing them! Can't wait to do the homecoming if at all possible!

 

On Saturday, Oct 22 I am going to be holding mini sessions on Center Street
where the old "Center Street Shops" and Barnabees used to be in Greenfield. These mini
sessions are geared toward holiday cards and holiday gifts and these prices are
unheard of ! I will be offering 3 session packages. You pick when you book
... then you may of course order a la cart on top of these after the session if
you like.

Session 1 will be $50 .... for that you get your mini
session and one digital file to use however you like. You can make your own
holiday cards with it at Walmart or on Shutterfly or Mpix, wherever you like. Or
just have copies made for gifts for family! Up to you! You can do as you please
with it as you will have a print release!

Session 2 will be $100.00 .... for your session and 3
digital files with print rights... Make a more complicated card, have different
choices for different gifts etc. Again, the options are unlimited! My digital
files are usually $150 each, so this is an incredible deal and it won't be
offered again before next Holiday season!

Session 3 will be $300.00 ... that will cover your session,
you'll get digital files of each image in your gallery (up to 10 images will be
shown. No fewer than 6!) You will also get a set of 25 custom designed 4x6 Christmas
cards and 15% off any a la cart prints you may purchase.

Now for the nitty gritty ... Mini sessions are for immediate family living in
the same household only, up to 5 family members. No specialty sessions such as
cake smashes, newborns or seniors will be allowed. These sessions will last
about 15 minutes. Long enough to get a good family shot for your Christmas cards
and a few shots of the kids to update family albums for you and your loved ones.

There will only be 14 mini slots available so this is first come first serve. Your time slot will not be
considered booked until it is paid for in full. If it should rain, there wll be
a rain date to make these up. No refunds will be given for no shows. Please
arrive 5-10 minutes early for your session in case I am running ahead and to
fill out paper work if you didn't fill it out online.

If you prefer a full session for your holiday cards and gifts, please make
sure you schedule soon! I am booking quickly for fall! My deadline for custom
cards will be December 1st. They must be ORDERED by this date to ensure that you
have them in a timely manner to mail before Christmas. My order deadline for
gift prints is December 17th.

Had a great session with these guys at South Eastway Park. They were great at posing themselves and made my job super fun and easy! Here are a few of my faves :)

 

So you've had your session and your viewing session. You love the photos, but aren't really sure what to do with them or what sizes to buy. If you need advice, I am always here to help! I am going to begin selling wall collections at a discount compared to the a la cart prices. Look how great this set would look over your living room couch! This is a 20x24, 16x20, and 20x24 (all mounted prints) . If you purchased them seperately your total would be $415 plus tax. If you purchase them together as a wall collection you can get them for $375 plus tax.  You could also buy them as a grouping of gallery wrapped canvases or acrylic prints also discounted for the group. I will be sharing some different wall groupings over the coming weeks. If you have a session before they are all up, no worries. I will show you some with your own photos in your ordering gallery!

So much fun with these two! My daughter and my cousin's daughter. They have grown up 5 hours away, but have become good friends despite the distance :) Love our family!  Here are a few of my faves ....

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family over in Geist Park. Afterwards, we headed to their home to get Rylan's cake smash photos. SO MUCH FUN. I love watching babies dig into that cake for the first time! You just never know what their reaction will be. Rylan didn't know what to think at first, but once he got a taste of that yummy goodness, he was all about it! Here are a few of my favorites from our session :)

Had this little Gem in my home studio last week. She was so very cooperative and slept AMAZING for me as I switched her from prop to prop. Gotta love it when they make your job so easy!

What do you think of when you hear "Now I lay me down to sleep" ? I think of the children's prayer I used to say with my mom when I was a little girl ... but now, Now I lay me down to sleep is so much more to me. A momma in the hospital has a baby that is stillborn ... NILMDTS steps in to help her remember those things that we all take for granted. We all know after our newborns start growing, those memories of their cute little nose, tiny fingers and toes, and the way that first cry sounds, they all fade. It's hard to recall exactly how small they were, how those features looked and we see them every day. Imagine only seeing your baby once in the hospital. How quickly that would fade away. That's where I come in. When I get a call, I come in and photograph those precious babies so that their parents also may remember those first moments and every feature.  This service is very private and I never share my sessions. I've never even asked a mother who's lost a child if that would be possible, but a couple of weeks ago I got an email from a young lady who wanted me to photograph her 2 month old son who had unexpectedly passed away in his sleep. She asked me if I could show her some of my work, but I had nothing I could show her because no one had ever given me permission to do so. This situation was a little different, in that I photographed the baby at the funeral home because the hospital was unaware of NILMDTS, but as I left the funeral home that day, the baby's mother told me that it would be ok to share these images.  I was still hesitant to do so, as it's been ingrained in me to keep these sessions private, but after I emailed her a few previews, she again told me that it would be ok to share, so today I share with you this beautiful baby Hayden Alexander, who was taken from this world way too soon.

Here he is during the very short time that his parents were able to enjoy him on this earth...

And here are a few examples of what I capture for the families. I hope that in time these will bring peace and comfort... Please keep this family in your prayers as they heal during this incredibly difficult time.
