Let's just put it out there ... my blog is never up to date! lol. I'm going to try this season, but as usual I am already way behind! I do want to start with my class of 2016 senior models! This has been the first year for my senior model program and so far I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are loving it! The girls are having a great time as am I! We are getting some stunning shots and they are going to have a HUGE variety of photos from their senior year. My senior model program is by invite only, but you can snag an invite by speaking to my current senior models! If you are a junior, let them know you are interested and give them your info! They will be handing in names of people they think will be a good fit and I will contact you in the spring to come to a meeting to see what it's all about!
Now, for the best part ... Here are my girls!
First up Jess! Jess is a senior at Mt. Vernon High School where she plays softball! I have a LOT of softball players this year, so we have a really fun shoot planned in a couple weeks! Stay tuned for that!
Next up is Olivia! Olivia is a senior at Eastern Hancock High School! Olivia loves hanging with her friends, going to summer concerts and weightlifting.

Had a great session this past fall with Rachel. My make-up artist gave her a fresh and natural look because she doesn't normally wear much make-up.

It's that time of year again! Travel softball! I have photographed several teams this season, but this is by far my favorite! Probably because I know these girls. They are my daughter's teammates, and this is one of the most drama free sweet group of girls I know! Love them so much! I would love to add ALL of the photos, but that would be total overload, so I will post a couple of each pose and of course our Team banner and this year's memory mate! Spring senior season got away from me! I haven't had a chance to blog most of my 2014 seniors, and here we are starting 2015 seniors! But that just means it's been a great year ! I didn't want you to miss out on this gorgeous girl! She's a softball player too, so I was right at home and so so so happy to do her softball related shots! Those never get old! This is Jess, we did her session back in June. Jess wanted a location with water and place to do some softball pics as well. Her shoot was great and we got some fantastic images, and doesn't she have the most amazing eyes? Check out a few of my favorites below!
Lilli is from a large farm family and the locations she chose were absolutely gorgeous, as was she! Had a great (though sweaty) time on this shoot and you would never know by looking at her how hot and muggy it was!
This senior season is so crazy busy! The weather has been AHhhhh mazing though! Sidney is a class of 2016 senior at Knightstown High School and she has the cutest car! Meet Marlee from Hamilton South Eastern High School! Marlee's session was late this summer. We had a great time in downtown Pendleton and at Falls Park. There are also photos from a model shoot or two here. My models this year did a Boho themed shoot, a shoot at the Indiana State Fair and a waterfall shoot plus their own senior shoots and some headshots and a fun softball setup we did for some of them. If you are class of 2017 I am already on the search for next year's team! It's a ton of fun and you get a LOT more photos through out the year all for about the same amount of money, so who wouldn't want to do it? Meet Jayden! She was one of my senior models this year. Such a great girl! We had an awesome time at her shoot and ended up with some amazing stuff! Girls, I can't tell you enough ... bring a fab pair of heels to your session! You don't have to wear them the whole time, but they just really complete the look for some outfits! I LOVE that her shoes match her car! Perfection!

Bailey is graduating from Pendleton Heights High School this spring. She wanted a Fall look to her personal session, so we went out in Oct and got a very gloomy day, but we didn't let that stop us and we got some really great, unique pictures! There are also a few of her Model photos here from our waterfall shoot, and from a shoot she did in Panama City, FL.

Brittaney did her session in October. It was my first (and definitely not last) time at this location and I LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Such a perfect little town for photos! We also had a lot of fun with her softball photos! If you play a sport or are in an activity that is special to you, you definitely want to bring something to represent that! We will find a way to work it in, no matter what it is!

Katie is a class of 2016 Grad from Hamilton SouthEastern High School. I also had the privilege of having Katie as one of my senior models this past year. This girl had the most FUN expressions! We had a great time at her session and all of the model sessions as well! Katie opted for a mid shoot hair change for her main senior session, so my awesome hair and makeup artist, Amy, hung out with us for half the shoot. So when people hire me for their senior photos, they usually want to know what sets me apart. I could answer with a lot of things ... the way I treat my clients, the amount of time I pour into learning new techniques and lighting, the way I pray before every single session for God to help me make this one the best one I've ever done, the passion I have for what I do, the way I don't JUST love taking the photos, but I love opening them up on my computer and creating the perfect masterpiece ... Art. That is what sets me apart. My vision. My art. The colors that pop off the page, the light, the emotion. I'm offering something to my seniors this year that I haven't seen offered in this area. Seniors are typically involved in a lot whether it be sports, drama, choir, band, cheer or other interests like racing or dirt bikes etc. The point is, we can go out and take some amazing portraits, but if you truly want to remember who they were during their senior year, what about some action shots of them doing what they love ? I love my seniors! I would love to come to a game or a performance and capture them in their element, and then you can have a really great piece of art to hang in your home or they can hang in their dorm, or we can do an album... I'm adding a senior session package that includes a visit from me to an activity of their choice. It should be a home game or event unless an away game will put them closer to me, then that is your choice. When it's over I can create something really great for you that will last long after they put their glove down for the last time ...

So at some point every day I try and have a little quiet prayer time. With 4 kids, it's usually hiding in the shower or something, but I sneak it in whenever I can! haha. This morning I started my usual prayer session thanking God for all he's done for us lately, when it hit me how every day lately I've been asking, begging, pleading for something ... be it my daughter's health, financial stuff, and of course just the general health and wellbeing of all of my kids and family members. Today I stopped myself from asking for any of that, and I asked ... what can I do for you today? How can I bless someone else? Well, admittedly, most of the time when I am praying, I start out praying, then 5 minutes later I realize my mind has gone to the softball game from the weekend, or the bills waiting to be paid downstairs, or the bathroom that needs cleaned... you get the gist. So this morning after I got that out I found my mind wandering to gosh, wouldn't it be cool if I could donate a session to a senior who really needed it? What if I could make it even bigger than that, and get them styled before the session, have a cute outfit donated? My thoughts were going crazy trying to plan it all out... Then the smack on the head.... HELLLLLOOO you were praying remember? But wait? This time, maybe my mind wasn't just wandering. Maybe I was actually hearing what God was saying? Yep, I definitely believe that I was. So here you have it!

I know God didn't ask me to do this without someone in mind. I know I'll find out who it was. Once I have the submissions, they will be carefully prayed over to choose my winner. Submissions will be taken until Oct 25th and I will contact the winner by Oct 27th to arrange the session! I would like to have it done in the first 2 weeks of November. I want to make this big for this kid, whoever it may be, so if you feel like you'd like to donate a hair/makeup session or a gift card for that, or a gift card for clothing for the session, or if you are another vendor and would like to donate something to give them...
